WrestleZone has exclusively learned that there are more shakeups on the WWE writing team expected after Ed Koskey's promotion to the lead writer of Smackdown.

Stephanie McMahon is said to be revamping the manner in which the TV shows will be pitched to WWE Chairman Vince McMahon, and Koskey's promotion was only the first in several steps.

In a related note, WrestleZone confirmed earlier this evening that although there are widespread reports that Michael Hayes has been moved into a management position, he is still very much a part of the writing team and has even been promoted a little bit to work alongside Brian Gewirtz on the "wrestling" end of the writing team hierarchy.

Hayes will still report to Stephanie McMahon.
