Has He Already Made It A Win?
With the end of NXT Redemption drawing ever-closer, Titus O' Neil seems to have this competition on ice. Will his dominance continue this week?

WWE NXT - 7/19/11

-It's time for the nineteenth week of NXT Redemption! The opening titles roll, and commentators Todd Grisham and William Regal welcome us from Minneapolis, Minnesota.

-Matt Striker and Maryse are in the ring and they welcome the rookies to the ring. Derrick Bateman enters to a slight pop. Darren Young gets no real reaction. Titus O'Neil gets a very slight pop. There is a heavy bag in the ring with Michael Cole's face on it.

-We are updated on the redemption point standings. O'Neil has 25 points, Young has 7 points, and Bateman has 0 points.

Challenge #1: Dummy Demonstration

-Each rookie will have a chance to impress the WWE Universe by doing what they can to the bag.

-Derrick Bateman grabs a mic and says that the dumbest demonstration he saw today was Titus' dog bark and does a bad impression. Bateman says that the dummy will represent Titus, and tells "Michael Cole" that he loves him. He drops repeated elbows onto the heavy bad and splashes it. He then hits a back suplex and the crowd is booing.

-Darren Young just pushes the bag down and says this is the dumbest idea he's ever been a part of. He doesn't have to prove his talents when he's already been in matches with the WWE's best, like John Cena. He knows he sounds like a broken record, but he doesn't need redemption points or a pro. He says that tonight Titus is going to be in the ring with "No Days Off D-Young" and there's nothing that's going to stop him from putting his boot across Titus' lips. Darren then flees the ring as Titus steps up.

-Titus O'Neil says that Bateman's display was impressive since the dummy can't hit back, like he can. He says to Darren that only one thing matters, and that's making it a win. He picks up the dummy and throws it at Darren, who's still outside the ring.

-The WWE Universe is acting as judges. Both Darren Young and Derrick Bateman get booed, and Titus O'Neil gets cheered.

Winner: Titus O'Neil, who wins 5 redemption points.

Match #1: Vladimir Kozlov vs. JTG

-Vladimir comes out to a nice pop, and JTG comes out to a bit of heat and a microphone. He says to cut the music and calls Vlad a "silly Russian." He says that they made a bet last week, and Vlad doesn't know what a gangster is. He says no matter how hard you try, you'll still get up in the morning and ask yourself "Why am I not as fly as JTG?"

-Vladimir tackles JTG with a leg takedown, but JTG takes control with a knee to the head and an Irish whip. Vlad then knocks JTG out of the ring with a shoulder block. Vlad follows him out of the ring and throws him back in. As Vladimir tries to come into the ring, JTG kicks Vlad in the head before throwing him into the steel ring post. He throws Vlad back into the ring and gets a two-count. JTG whips Vlad into the corner and goes to the second rope, knocking Vlad to the ground in the process. JTG hits a missile dropkick for a two-count. JTG chokes Vlad on the second rope, but Vlad fights to his feet. JTG quickly takes control with an impressive lifting back suplex into a neckbreaker. JTG pushes Kozlov into the corner, backs up, and hits a running elbow, before hitting his Mugshot second-rope bulldog for a two-count. JTG goes for a rear chinlock and changes to a front headlock to keep Vlad grounded. Vlad slowly gets to his feet and fights out with punches and knees before landing a kick to the sternum. Vlad hits his trapped headbutts, boots JTG into the corner, and attempts a running powerslam. JTG wiggles out and hits a chop block. JTG runs the ropes, but gets shoulder blocked. Vlad then hits the Iron Curtain for the three-count and the win.

Winner: Vladimir Kozlov

-Hornswoggle is backstage and catches up with Maryse. Hornswoggle has a heart-shaped box and tries to give it to Maryse. Maryse tries to walk off, but Hornswoggle grabs her legs. Maryse shoves him to the ground and pours the contents of the heart (candy, I believe) on him before walking off. A man walks up the the dejected Hornswoggle and gives him a package. He opens it and finds what looks like a stuffed animal.

-Yoshi Tatsu is shown walking back to his locker room. His usual shrine and his action figure are found completely trashed. Yoshi angrily yells.

-Hornswoggle's music hits and out he comes with Titus O'Neil. They both get a pop. "Wild and Young" hits and out comes Darren Young by himself. There's a recap of Darren's antics from the challenge earlier tonight.

Match #2: Titus O'Neil vs. Darren Young

-Titus pushes Darren into the corner and Darren reverses it, pushing Titus into the corner. The referee breaks them up and Darren hits a cheap shot and applies a side headlock to Titus. Titus whips Darren and catches him with a scoop slam and a side walk slam. Titus applies an abdominal stretch onto Darren and yells "What's up, Minnesota?" Titus lets go and drops Darren with a clothesline for a two-count. Titus goes back to the abdominal stretch and hits a few blows to his midsection before throwing him down. Titus whips Darren and hits a big boot. Darren rolls out of the ring, yells "Forget this!", and tries to walk away, but Titus runs after him and throws him back into the ring. Titus throws Darren into the corner and sends him clear over the turnbuckle to the outside. Titus sets up Darren against the apron and hits a chop to his chest. Darren rolls back into the ring, Titus follows, and Darren takes control with a gut kick. Titus quickly gets it back with an Irish whip and a back elbow strike, which sends Darren to the apron. Titus goes to the apron as well, but Darren takes control and hits a neckbreaker onto the apron. Derrick Bateman walks out slowly from the back, holding the picture of Michael Cole.

-Darren is in control with a rear chinlock as Bateman watches from ringside. Titus gets to his feet and runs after Darren, but gets hit with a clothesline for a two-count. Darren hits a back suplex for a two-count. Darren chokes Titus on the second rope until the referee breaks it up. Titus takes control and beats Darren in the corner, finishing it with a European uppercut for a two-count. Darren takes control with a kick to the gut, and pushes Titus back out to the apron. Darren goes to the apron himself and hits a leg drop on the apron. Darren hits a snapmare and applies another rear chinlock. Titus gets to his feet and hits a gutwrench suplex. Titus drops Darren with a flurry of punches, a shoulder block, a clothesline, and a powerslam. He gets a two-count. Titus runs the ropes and Derrick Bateman trips Titus while the referee isn't looking. Darren tries to take control, but Titus pops up and hits Clash of the Titus for the three-count.

Winner: Titus O'Neil

-Hornswoggle gets up on Titus' shoulders and they celebrate in the ring. The rest of the show is a Raw Rebound of Triple H relieving Vince McMahon of his duties.

-That's all for this week's edition of NXT Redemption. Thanks for reading.
